I have been teaching for over 25 years. I started to substitute teach in Baldwin Park after graduating from UCSB. I became passionate about teaching and began my path in education. I have taught primarily in Kindergarten and First grades. I find young children so capable and teaching them so rewarding! Being involved with young students, watching them grow and progress always captivates me.

Each year, I strive to guide and help children reach their personal potential both emotionally and academically. It is important to excite children about learning. This is their beginning of a life long quest for knowledge! 

I have been married for 20 years and have two wonderful sons. I reside in La Jolla. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, skiing, backpacking, running, making jewelry and traveling.
