A MESSAGE FROM JOHANNA TOMAN  PTA PRESIDENT
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Ocean Air! This year marks the 10th anniversary of Ocean Air Elementary and our PTA!
 
The Ocean Air School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is committed to enhancing our students’ elementary school experience by providing a variety of Social, Athletic, and Educational programs like The Back to School Bash, International Night, Read-A-Thon, Red Ribbon Week, Running Club, Festivals, Dad's Club, Math Club, Community Service Projects, Winter Wonderland, The Talent Shows and many more. Your support makes these programs possible.
 
We are so grateful to the many parent volunteers who donate their time, talent, and resources to make these programs a success. If you would like to get involved this year, please visit our Volunteer tab or contact our VP of Volunteers, Kim Lacy kimberlyannlacy817@gmail.com.
 
A top priority of our PTA is ensuring that all of our OAS families stay connected and informed through our new and improved PTA website, www.oceanairpta.org. Our website has undergone a complete enhancement makeover this year, merging with our Membership Toolkit.  We are very excited about the enhancement and hope that this website will be a place that families can visit to get up-to-date information on all PTA programs and activities. We also stay connected with our families through the weekly Sharks Shout Out e-blast, Wednesday folder flyers, our Instagram page, and through our Membership Toolkit online directory (OA Membership Toolkit)
 
Please consider becoming a member and supporting your school.  Visit the Membership Toolkit link above to purchase your 2023-2024 PTA membership. The benefits of PTA Membership include voting rights at all of our association meetings and access to our online directory. Additionally, a portion of the funds raised during our membership drive goes to support all of our PTA programs.
 
On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, I would like to thank you for supporting your Ocean Air PTA in any way you can and showing your children the importance you place on their education. A strong PTA depends on parent involvement, and parent involvement is one of the key factors in student success.
